Summertime is tournament time for serious anglers in New England. Many of our customers at Oyster Harbors Marine participate in one or more of these annual events, which not only offer some competitive deepwater angling, but also camaraderie and old friends getting together as well as supporting important charitable causes. If you’ve never signed up for one of these multi-day events, you should take a look! 

Oyster Harbors Marine plans to attend several of these great events this summer. We’ll be these tournaments:

• July 14-17 Bluefin Blowout Tournament – Cape Ann Marina, Gloucester, MA- Featuring the Regulator 35
  • One of the most famous fishing tournaments on the East Coast, the Bluefin Blowout is a three-day competition and benefits the Alzheimer’s Association. Learn more about this event here. 
• July 31-Aug 3 Big Game Battle – Nantucket, MA- Featuring the Regulator 35
  • This will be the 24th year of the Big Game Battle, where competitors leave Nantucket and head into the deep blue in search of a variety of big-game species. The weekend of competition and comradery benefits Good Sports, an organization dedicated to providing equitable access to youth sports and physical activity. We’ll also be attending this summertime event:

• Aug 14 BONS Event – Danversport, MA – Featuring the OHM Edition Regulator 37
  • Not a fishing tournament, the BONS Event (Best of North Shore) is a great one-night party on the docks of Danversport, featuring great music, great food, great drinks and lots of fun. To get tickets, go here. Oyster Harbors Marine is a co-sponsor of this event.

For the August event, we’re bringing our favorite fishing machine – the exciting new Regulator 37, which we’ve customized into the OHM Edition Regulator 37! Our Customization Shop staff has dressed up the 37 with emblems, canvas work and teak treatments to showcase the way we can customize your boat and make it unique.
